Brett Wade is a quadruple threat. Not only is he a brilliant singer and guitar player, he also writes and produces. He has many claims to fame: he played on the first Valdy record which launched Valdy's career, and played the guitar solo on Valdy's big hit "Rock and Roll Song". He played bass and sang with "The Electric Prunes" ("Too Much to Dream Last Night"). He also toured with Shari Ulrich, The Wade Brothers, and his own Stallion Thumbrock. Brett is in demand for both his trademark high tenor vocal, and his distinctive guitar playing. He has his own recording and production facilities and frequently works with Jim Woodyard at Creation Studios. Brett is a truly GREAT musician.

"I cannot think of any singer who can blend so well with any other voice, male or female. However, Brett is not just an outstanding background vocalist, he is also an accomplished vocal arranger. He can make any song sound more complete, whether it needs big, complicated parts or just a very simple harmony. Brett's guitar parts are always tasteful, yet unique. As with his vocal arrangements, he seems to know when to keep it simple and when to push the envelope. Fitting in with any track or style does not appear to be a problem for him, even when he has to make up parts on the fly."

"Brett has been a constant in the studio musician biz here in Vancouver for about 30 years now. Starting with an unerring guitar solo in Valdy's "Rock and Roll' song, thru the Wade brothers funk fueled fusion, to his current senior statesman status as a vocalist and guitar player, Brett's musicality knows no age. Brett infuse everything he does with passion, taste and humor. The latter making for enjoyable sessions and great feel. When Brett is together w/ his cohort Glenda Rae, I can't think of a better BGV duo that comes up with the goods in an efficient , classy and musically fulfilling way. Highly recommended!"

"I've been working with Brett now for many years in a 'long distance' internet related context. He brings a fabulous blend of superb musical talent, a very finely tuned ear for vocal blending and pitch (in a way that only a very experienced studio singer can do) and his own tremendous musical sensitivity and creativity. He's taken my songs to whole new level with his beautiful bg section parts! If you're looking for unique tracks, be it vocal or guitar that are highly professional in execution, studio sonics and creativity then Brett stands alone in the online marketplace. You'll be back for more, I guarantee it!"
